Wall light in opaline glass and bakelite by Bo-Niko (ca. 1960)
Bo-Niko is part of Niko, the biggest electric components company from Belgium since decades. The firm was established in 1919 by the two brothers Alphonse and Werner De Backer in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. In 1962, Niko started to produce the Bo-Niko lighting fixtures.Nowadays, Niko does not produce lamps. This wall light features an opaline lampshade with an internal thread that screws onto the base in bakelite.

Used condition. There are some imperfections, scratches and visible paint splashes. The socket, electric system and cap are original. Bulb and mounting screws are not included in the price. The rubber gasket is missing or damaged, needs to be replaced for exterior use. Bakelite cap may be drilled and/or damaged. Dusty, needs to be cleaned.
