These auditorium desks have been salvaged from the former Sint-Jozefseminarie in Sint-Katelijne Waver, best known as Borgerstein building, designed by S. Van Craen and built between 1933 and 1936. More info here.
The desks' front legs are longer than the back legs in order to match the height difference from the auditorium where they were in use. (see images).
