The glass lampshade was recovered from the overstock of Emery&Cie, a Belgian manufacturer specialising in glass craftsmanship and zellige mosaic tilework. The brass fitting and electric system are entirely made new in our lighting workshop. 

Due to the hand-making of the lampshade, the thickness and the tint could slightly changed and some stains could be visible on the opaline. May have some light chips along the edges.

Unlike industrial flat glass, which undergoes specific heat treatments to ensure its stability, the manufacturing process used for glass paste means that it retains internal tensions that can cause cracks, sometimes referred to as ‘hairline cracks’. These internal cracks are part of the nature of these handcrafted glass shades. 

A 120 cm textile cable (or longer on request), available in a range of colors, and a new metal ceiling cap (black or white) are included in the price. Bulb is not included in the price.
