All our Western societies are based on an extractivist approach to resources, with no regard for matter, whether of plant, animal or mineral origin. In this incisive and personal essay, the author proposes that we move away from an anthropocentric approach to resources and build with what's left, stopping taking from the Earth everything that could be derived from vernacular reuse.
