The Basil chair was designed in 2011 by Mr. Smith Studio for Calligaris. It consists of a polypropylene shell mounted on a beached beech structure.
"Basil is inspired by the morphology a simple basil leaf, where the central rib is both a structural and decorative element. The same shell is mounted on a variety of different frames".
