A careful enquiry into the work of Marcel Raymaeckers, a Belgian salvage dealer/designer/builder. The book digs into archives to uncover this fascinating and uncommon œuvre. We particularly love the critical essays showing how his somewhat anti-modernist approach remains deeply linked to the front of modernisation that transformed Belgium after WW2. The pictures by Anja Hellbaut and the layout by Casier&Fieuws all contribute to quicken this rarely-seen material.
