This stackable chair was designed by Croatian designers Mladen and Marijan Orešić and mass-produced by the Jadran Factory in the 1980s. The Modres chair was conceived as a modular solution for public spaces, especially for catering facilities in universities and cultural institutions like the Museum of Arts and Crafts, but also in lobbies, waiting rooms, and other public spaces in Zagreb. The chair features a varnished solid pine seat with polyurethane backrest and lacquered steel legs.

Used condition. There are visible scratches, stickers residues, light chips and stains (see images). A bit dusty, needs to be cleaned. The shade of red lacquer varies slightly from one chair to another.
