Supervillas by Fabrik, Les chantiers battus, Les Frères Poulet and the 7e Gauche
What a pleasure to see our materials used in a project like 'Supervillas'! Located in the social housing neighbourhood of 'Les villas de Ganshoren', the project consisted of creating modular furnishings on the ground floors of the iconic 'clover towers', home to over a thousand households. A collaborative team involving Fabrik, Les chantiers battus, Les Frères Poulet and the 7e Gauche designed and produced modular shelving, mobile tables, workbenches and seating - all created during an on-site residency. The brief was to equip these spaces so that they can be used as multifunctional facilities by local associations and residents.
Rotor DC supplied the blue Trespa panels - which were reclaimed from a façade in Mons a year ago. The project also used reclaimed plywood, second-hand plastic crates, and local larch wood.
Project realized with the support of the municipality of Ganshoren and Urban.brussels.
