This soap holder 'Fifia' by Studio Caprotti in 'satinato' (satin white) was salvaged from the deadstock of an Italian company that specialises in sanitary equipment. This item was produced by Milan based firm Caprotti in Murano crystal between 1950 and 1979. It lay dormant in a warehouse for decades and has never been used.
