Door handle in nickel brass attributed to Walter Gropius (ca. 1930)
These door handles in nickel brass have been carefully dismantled by our team from a stonemason's house in Braine Le Château. The original door handles on some of the doors were designed by Walter Gropius who was the first director of the Bauhaus, however we have found no confirmation. Each salvaged handle has developed its own unique patina during its time in use.
