Cabinet 'Eames Storage Unit - 1HU' by Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra
The Eames Storage Unit (ESU) was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1949. This highly modular cabinet features 2 long birch plywood shelves whose heights are adjustable thanks to perforated vertical upright supports, all of which are assembled on a black powder-coated frame supported by structural cross-bracing diagonals. It has been reclaimed from the former VRT/RTBF broadcasting complex.
