Book ‘.Working with. MULTI - Open Debate, Public Interior and Circularity’ by CONIX RDBM Architects (2022)

Published in late 2022 by CONIX RDBM, the book documents the complex reconversion process of the MULTI office tower in Brussels.

In 2017, the conversion project of the former Philipstoren into MULTI received the BE.EXEMPLARY award. This prize from the Brussels Region gives a subsidy to projects that contribute to sustainable architecture. It is from this perspective that this book has been compiled.

The book is a form of reporting and reflection on the creation of MULTI. It brings together design drawings, fragments of the BIM model, sketches, scale models, annotated production drawings on the one hand, and a photographic report of the construction process on the other. As a form of documentation of a long and complex process involving many different people with widely varying areas of expertise, it is by definition incomplete.

The order of the documents in the book is not chronological, but rather relational.
