Large glass window from the ground floor of the CBR building by Constantin Brodzki & Marcel Lambrichs (ca. 1970)
These large oval glass windows were reclaimed from ground floor of the prefabricated white concrete facade of the CBR Building designed by architects Constantin Brodzki and Marcel Lambrichs (ca. 1970). More info here
These glass windows were mounted directly in the facade's concrete modules, without frames. This insulating glass with gold and reflective finish, called 'Stopray Gold 40-27', was originally manufactured by Glaverbel. The glass is not toughened (neither tempered nor laminated). We do not recommend to use the window as furniture.
Height | 278 cm (± 1 cm) |
Length | 135,5 cm (± 1 cm) |
| Thickness | 2,5 cm |
Good used condition. There are some light marks of condensation inside the glass and visible traces of joint on the edges. Glass edges are slightly chipped.
Please note that the windows are heavy (> 100 kg) and might be complicated to handle. Make sure you have a good transport solution and enough hands to load your vehicle.
