This glued laminated timber was salvaged from the roof structure of one of the former 'BOMACO' warehouses in Relegem. Originally used as a structural elements, these pine beams have been first inspected on site to remove any remaining screws or nails, then sawn parallel to the large face to create panels. The panels have then been milled with a 4-side planer to achieve a uniform thickness and width, making them particularly suitable for use in interior furnishings such as benches, shelves, wall panelling, tables, etc.
Length | min 245 cm (± 20 cm) |
Width | 45 cm (± 0,1 cm) |
Thickness | 3 or 3,5 or 4,5 cm (± 0,1 cm) |
Although the product has an even surface as a result of the planing process, there may still be some splinters and delamination. It will need to be sanded and repaired in places - just as with fresh wood. Some slight warping, known as 'twisting', may occur across the width of the panel, with the two ends no longer lying in the same plane.
We only sell the entire panel but an extra rough cutting service is available. Our customer service will contact you after the purchase for more precisions. In order to prepare your order in the best possible way, our team will need some delay from the day of your order. Please note that once the panel is cut no order return is possible.
