These items have been salvaged in 2014 by our team from the former headquarters of the Générale de Banque (now BNP Paribas Fortis). The building, constructed between 1968 and 1979, was located on the Warandeberg in Brussels. Two renowned Belgian designers from that period, Jules Wabbes and Christophe Gevers, were commissioned to design the interiors. They are both well-known for their meticulous approach to craftsmanship and distinctive use of high-quality, timeless materials. Each salvaged item has developed its own unique patina during its time in use.

The product features a double handle plate in sand-cast bronze by Jules Wabbes. There is a hole on both sides of the plates for the handle/knob.

Used condition. There are a fews scratches, corrosion traces and tiny chips. These handles feature natural variations and subtle pitting corrosion. The sand-casting method has given the door handle a rough finish with minor surface irregularities and texture differences that are inherent to the casting process. Dusty, needs to be cleaned.

Please note: this hardware is unique and has been salvaged from a bespoke project, meaning each piece may require specific additional work to reinstall.
