These terrazzo tiles come from the remaining stock of the former Bomarbre/Marbralys factory in Harelbeke. It was the last terrazzo factory active in Belgium when it closed its doors in 2018. More information here .
The tiles were produced according to traditional production methods by Bomarbre. The layer of coloured cement and marble fragments is pressed in a mould on a concrete base, and then polished in order to create tiles for indoor use. This terrazzo is suitable for floor heating.
The product is sold per pallet. Two formats of pallets are available: 18,72 m2 (208 tiles) and 23,76 m2 (264 tiles). We recommend adding a safety margin to your order.

Condition: Although the tiles have never been laid, this is not a new product. As it originates from the remnants of custom-made, one-off production batches, the material shows greater variability than a standardised industrial product. There are stains and discolouration due to long-term storage. Some tiles are damaged along the edges and corners. Colour and grain size may slightly vary from one tile to another. We therefore recommend mixing the tiles before laying.
If you want to visually attenuate irregularities on the edges of the tiles, we recommend using a joint colour that matches the colour of the tiles as closely as possible.
The material is sold as is. We recommend that customers visit our physical shop to check the material before buying. The material must be inspected thoughtfully once delivered. Once the material has been laid, we do not take any responsibility.
