Surprise! For this final week before our summer break, we're going to welcome one of our favourite materials! Our team has been busy dismantling a 600 m² floor in a sports hall in Tessenderlo. Following the same strategy as last time, rather than reclaiming the parquet board by board, our salvage operation consisted of on-site cut-to-size work, which resulted in panels measuring approximately 1.2 x 2.4 metres. Due to the thickness of the underlying wooden joist structure, we had to use a special circular saw capable of reaching 9 cm below the floor surface!
If everything goes to plan, the complete batch should be here at Rotor DC by the end of the week. In that case, we could already allow in-store purchase on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th, with same-day payment and collection. The webshop listing would follow at a later date.
We’ll be sending you an update midweek, so stay tuned!
