Gymnasium panel in 3-ply with a maple top layer
We had the opportunity to reclaim another gymnasium floor – this time in Laakdal. Our team used the same method as before, coming equipped with circular saws to divide the floor into rectangular panels. Although there is no underlying structure, the panels remain coherent once cut because the boards were originally glued together at their tongue-and-groove joints.
The material is 3-ply. It consists of a maple wood wear layer on top of two softwood layers.
